1. How can I remove my e-mail address from the mailing list?
To remove yourself from our e-mail list, please click here. You can also click on the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of this page and send us a message requesting to be removed from our e-mail list. * Please note: Once you remove yourself from the list, you may still get the e-mails for up to 72 hours, since many of them are prepared in advance.
2. How do I enroll?
Becoming a member of CoolSavings is easy. Just go to www.coolsavings.com and click on Register at the top right-hand side of the page, and then fill out the enrollment form at the right-hand side of the page that comes up. The following fields are required:
Trouble enrolling? If you do not answer all of the required fields (which are marked with a red asterisk) before clicking the "submit" button, the same page will come back up with red and white error messages just above any field that was not filled in correctly. Please make any changes and click "submit" again.
3. Why do I have to enroll in CoolSavings?
Although you can still use our site if you are not enrolled, we ask you to enroll so that we can offer you coupons from merchants targeted to your geographical region and tailored to your specific needs. We don't want to waste your time with coupons for men from California if you're a woman from Pennsylvania. Enrollment in CoolSavings is free, as is unlimited use of the site and all its features.
4. Who has access to my personal info?
We will neither voluntarily disclose, lease or sell any information we gather from our Site to third parties for the purpose of sending you information about their product or services or for any other reason, except as otherwise set forth in our Privacy Policy or unless you specifically indicate your willingness to allow us to do so. For example, with your consent we may disclose your personally identifiable information (such as your name and address) to third-parties which may then send you incentive offers and other promotional materials through the mail or via email. From time to time, however, we may disclose your information to trusted third party processors that provide database maintenance and other services as described in the Privacy Policy. These are services performed at CoolSavings' request, exclusively for CoolSavings, and under strict privacy and confidentiality. They will not result in the disclosure of your personal information to any other groups.
5. Where are the printable coupons and how do I print them?
To view our printable grocery and manufacturer coupons, please click on the Printable Coupons tab at the top of our home page. We encourage you to keep checking back for new printable coupons of interest to you. We are working to add new ones all the time!
6. I ran into trouble printing coupons. What should I do?
The printable coupons hosted on our site are provided through a company called SmartSource. If you ran into any trouble with printing, please visit their online help page.
7. Is CoolSavings free?
Being a member of CoolSavings is absolutely free of charge. You can choose to purchase things through offers on our website, but at no time will CoolSavings charge you for your membership.
8. Can I enroll if I live outside the U.S.?
CoolSavings is currently available only for use at stores in the continental USA, Alaska, and Hawaii. Only stores in these 50 states will accept CoolSavings coupons. Some offers on our site are only available within certain states or even smaller regions. This is due to the way many companies organize their promotional programs or price their goods and services. If you reside outside the U.S. but would like to use CoolSavings coupons when visiting, you can enroll and supply address information for the region you plan to visit. Then you can print the coupons and take them shopping when you arrive. Please be sure to specify the correct information for the region because coupons you print while enrolled in one region may not be accepted by stores in a different region. Use the area code and zip code of the hotel, business, friend, or relative with whom you'll be staying. As we grow, we hope to offer CoolSavings worldwide. Until then, we hope that we can still be of service to you.
9. Why does the enrollment form require my date of birth?
In accordance with a federal law prohibiting the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13, we require our members to provide their date of birth on the enrollment form. We need to ensure that anyone enrolling is in fact at least 13 years of age. Please be assured that when you entrust us with your personal information, we absolutely do not share, give or sell any of it to anyone -- including advertisers on this site. The law to which we are referring falls under the "Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998" (15 U.S.C. 6501, et seq., "COPPA").
10. Why do some offers in the FreeStuff section require credit card information?
Some of the offers that appear in our "FreeStuff" section require credit card information to process. These offers typically provide a free trial period with the option to purchase more of the product (at a discounted rate) at the end of the trial period. During the trial, if you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund from the merchant. Merchants may have different refund policies and conditions; please refer to the specific FreeStuff offer information for further details.
11. What is the status of my reward?
CoolSavings features offers on various Web sites in addition to www.coolsavings.com. For these offers, you will be submitting your information to sign up for a product or service. These offers are powered by CoolSavings and appear on our partner Web sites, but these offers are optional and do not help you qualify for a free gift on the partner Web site. We recommend that you contact the Web site you were on when you submitted offers, as they will be able to let you know the status of any reward item toward which you were working on their site.
12. What should I include in a message to CoolSavings Member Services?
